Firstly apologies to my food fans for the delay in posting a new recipe, it has been a very busy period but don’t be worrying I not been too busy to eat. Anyway today’s recipe can be done in 2 ways, as individual cookie treats or in my case as a big bone shaped cookie which was the base for my birthday cake. What made using this recipe special was it was a favourite of my dear friend @jessietheboxer who went OTRB in November, we thought what better way to make sure she was remembered on my special day than by wolfing down a cake that she would have loved. So I hope all me pals will try this and send a big AAARRRROOOO to Jessie and her mom as thanks. You will forever be in our hearts Jessie.
8 oz. canned unsweetened crushed pineapple
60ml olive oil
1 tsp. vanilla
220g white flour
Preheat oven to 350F, 150C, gas mark 4
Drain pineapple & set aside. In mixing bowl, combine oil & honey. Add egg, pineapple & vanilla. Mix well then add flour continuing to mix.
Once you have your mixture you can either drop teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet & bake for 20 min or shape in to a larger cake such as a bone and cook for 25-30 minutes.
As you will see in the photo we decorated my cake with some melted dog chocolate and added some my favourite treats, but this is optional.
