Hi pals, well most of you who know me knows I is a meal skipper and not obsessed with food like most dogs. Knowing this me pals on Twitter are always encouraging me to eat and no one more than Sammy (@jessiesissammy) who not only gave me the fabulous recipe that follows but also sent me a loaf to try all the way from America. Anyway I is pleased to report not only did the Peanut Butter bread pass the Furball taste test but Sammy has kindly agreed to me sharing it with you today.
360g Wheat Flour
30ml Skimmed Milk
180g Natural Peanut Butter
80ml Olive Oil
1 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 350F, 180C, Gas Mark 4. Grease 1 large loaf pan or use 3-4 small loaf pans.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl & mix well.
For large loaf pan:
Pour mixture into pan & bake for 50 min.
For small loaf pans:
Pour mixture into pans & bake for 35 min.
Use toothpick test to assure they’re cooked through.
Cool before slicing. Wrap tightly & store in refrigerator.
Note: These freeze well in airtight container.
